Choosing A Trade Show Flooring Company: Five Questions You Need To Ask

When you're ready to order trade show flooring, you'll probably go straight to the Internet, where you'll discover hundreds of companies that manufacture, distribute, or rent a variety of flooring options. Some companies will give you great customer service and quality flooring, while others are less reliable. If you aren't sure which company to rely on, talk to a customer service representative from each company you're considering. By asking the right questions, you can quickly narrow your list and select the best trade show flooring company for your needs.

1. Does The Company Have References?

Don't be afraid to ask for references. Companies who have solid relationships with happy customers will be glad to give you a list of references. Once you have the list, follow through on contacting them. Ask questions about the quality of the products they purchased and whether they were satisfied with the service they received. Also be sure to ask what kind of flooring they bought - if you're considering industrial rubber flooring, you'll want to talk to at least two customers who are using rubber flooring.

2. Can They Send You Samples?

Ordering via the Internet means relying on the color samples you see on your screen. What you see isn't always what you get - the color variations from monitor to monitor are notoriously unreliable. Ask for samples of a few different types of trade show flooring in the colors you're interested in so that you can determine whether their blue, industrial rubber flooring is a deep blue or more of a gray shade.

If you're in the market for floor graphics, be sure you ask for samples of each type of logo flooring. Are the floor graphics crisp? Is the print even and easy to read? If you're looking at sculpted carpeting, take a look at the beveling and the quality of the edges. Be sure the company is willing to send you samples of every type of flooring you're interested in. Getting just a swatch of carpet won't tell you much if you intend to buy industrial rubber flooring.

3. Is The Company Eco-Friendly?

Choosing an eco-friendly trade show flooring manufacturer may not be your first priority, but it should be at least a consideration. In today's world, businesses large and small are increasingly eco-aware. If you use eco-friendly, recycled, industrial rubber flooring, you may get some positive feedback from site visitors who appreciate your company's ecologically responsible choices. And of course, being eco-friendly has its own rewards.

4. How Many Styles/Colors/Materials Are Offered?

The variety of options a trade show flooring company offers is a good indication of their reliability and quality. If they try to dissuade you from a particular style or color because they don't carry it, take note. They may not be able to fulfill your order or they may simply be cutting corners by limiting themselves to only the most popular options. Ask about carpeting styles and colors. Do they offer Berbers? How many colors are available in pile carpeting? Can they do custom floor graphics?

5. Do They Offer The Appropriate Accessories?

Trade show flooring, whether it's industrial rubber flooring or carpeting with great floor graphics, is an investment in your company's reputation. Be sure the flooring provider also carries the accessories you'll need to set up, break down, store, and protect your purchase. They should offer durable carpet bags and shipping cases for any trade show flooring they offer in order to protect the materials and lengthen the life of the product.

  1. I visited a trade show recently, and was pleased to notice how beautifully the traders decorated their cubicles. Many of them used custom printed flooring that highlighted the company logo and looked attractive. I am about to participate in an exhibition after few months, and I have bookmarked the link http://www.exhibeportable.com/trade-show-flooring.html as I have decided to try the best flooring option that will come under my budget.
